NASHVILLE, Tenn. – February 1, 2012 – David J. Robkin has been named Chief Executive Officer and President of Bigger Picture Group, a next-generation music company based in Nashville, Tenn. The announcement was made today by Bigger Picture Group Chairman and Chief Creative Officer Keith Stegall. With more than 30 years of professional and entrepreneurial experience in the music, entertainment, hospitality and financial industries, Robkin is a highly accomplished executive who has been instrumental in refining Bigger Picture Group’s strategy and infrastructure. As CEO, Robkin will oversee all business and creative areas of the company’s three operating divisions, including recorded music, publishing and digital services.

“We are thrilled to welcome David into the Bigger Picture Group family,” said Stegall. “His unique skill set offers us the final piece of the pie we needed to complete Bigger Picture and grow our footprint accordingly.”

“Bigger Picture Group has pioneered a unique, holistic business model that marries entrepreneurism, music and technology, offering a true business partnership between the artist and the label,” said Robkin. “As CEO, I’m actively involved in the music business, the technology business, the financing business and the creative arts business. I work with smart, creative people every day, and I’m looking forward to the future and what we’re building here at Bigger Picture Group.”

The company, recently named the No. 5 country record label by Country Aircheck, had a standout 2011 with major successes to report from all three branches. Among its impressive roster of artists, Craig Campbell was one of the few country stars to break out last year, releasing two of the top 100 singles—“Family Man” and “Fish”—of 2011. Additionally, he was recently named the No. 3 New Artist of the Year by Country Aircheck. Bigger Picture Group has equally been instrumental in GRAMMY-award-winning Zac Brown Band’s recording success, including the production and promotion of the highly successful band’s two albums and nine consecutive No. 1 singles.

Boasting cuts for country music heavy-hitters such as Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Billy Currington and LeAnn Rimes, Bigger Picture’s publishing arm, led by award-winning country music producer and songwriter Stegall, is poised to expand its artist base over the coming months while continuing to sign some of Nashville’s top writers.

Robkin is also the Co-founder of Entertainment Service Unlimited, LLC, a New Jersey-based music management company which has provided services to a broad number of international recording artists, including Cinderella, Nelson, Kiss, Pat Benatar, Cheap Trick, Bette Midler, Peter Frampton, Breaking Benjamin, Megadeth and Lamb of God, among others.

Before joining Bigger Picture Group in 2011, Robkin was a Founder and Principal of Liberty Venture Partners, a technology-oriented venture capital firm in Philadelphia with a focus on information technology services and restaurant and hospitality companies. Prior to joining Liberty, Robkin was the Managing Partner of AG Epstein Company, a Philadelphia accounting and consulting firm that merged with Grant Thornton in 1995.

Robkin currently serves on a number of boards, including the Starr Restaurant Organization; LAGOS, Inc.; ExpertPlan, Inc.; Entertainment Services Unlimited; Red Stripe Plane Group; and A.C. Nightlife, LLC. Previously, he served on the boards of TicketsLive Corp. (now MLB.com), CMPExpress.com (acquired by Cyberian Outpost), XO Soft, Inc. (acquired by CA) and the Greater Philadelphia Venture Group.
